Amy’s career as a writer has spanned many genres, and produced a great variety of work. For 25 years, she worked as a syndicated columnist for Universal Press Syndicate, and her children’s story column Tell Me a Story was published around the world. She also worked for a decade as a newspaper columnist, has performed regularly on Spoken Word stages in New York and Los Angeles, and in addition to her own books and those she has ghostwritten or co-authored, her stories and essays have appeared in several collections.
